Assessment for Debate/Forensics

Happy Monday!

Sorry that I can't be here today.  Tomorrow, we'll be working on:

  • Debate/Forensics (3rd hour): finishing bills/debates
  • Debate I (5th hour): preparing for the final exam
For today, I want you to focus on your analysis of performance.  Please answer the following questions, and then submit your work to the sub.

    1.  Are schools killing or enhancing students' creativity? Explain in at least five sentences.
    2.  Watch the embedded video as a class.



    3.  What is the overall point of Ken Robinson's speech?
    4.  What nonverbal strengths does Ken Robinson possess?
    5.  How can education change to better utilize creativity? Should the system change? Explain in at least 10 sentences.
    6.  How can this better utilize creativity, and how can this class improve next year?

If you finish early, please prepare material for your final exam in this class.
